General information, not legal, safety or veterinary advice

Everything on this site is general information about waterfowl hunting gear. It isn't legal advice, safety training or veterinary advice. Hunting regulations are set each year under the federal framework and by each state, and they change; always confirm seasons, limits, shooting hours and legal methods with your state wildlife agency before you hunt. Hunting, cold water and gear choices

Waterfowl hunting happens around cold water, ice, boats and firearms, and it carries real risks. No wader, vest, blind or accessory makes it safe on its own. Follow the maker's instructions for any product, especially heaters, waders and dog gear, and use your own judgment about conditions. Fit varies from brand to brand: check the maker's sizing guidance and the retailer's return policy before you buy.

Accuracy of information

We work to keep every page accurate and sourced, and we correct errors when we find them. Brands change models, specs and sizes, and we can't guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it.
